A Place in the Sun host Craig Rowe blasts house hunters as ‘rotters’ as property prank backfires
A PLACE in the Sun presenter Craig Rowe blasted today’s house hunters after they attempted to prank the show’s host following one of the house viewings.
On today’s show, Craig Rowe was in Costa Cálida, Spain for today’s edition of the hit Channel 4 show as he attempted to find the dream home by the sea for Diane and John Evans.

The couple, from Derbyshire, were shown around five stunning properties and included some that needed some extra work to get them in to tip-top condition.
However, as Craig let the pair look around one of the homes on their own, they were quick to try and prank him and it left Craig hitting back with a shock comment.
Having viewed the seafront four bedroom apartment, Diane and John were left more than impressed with what they would be able to get for their money.
Heading back outside to speak to Craig, they all of a sudden appeared downbeat as he questioned their reactions.
Craig said to them: “Okay, that wasn’t quite the expressions that I was hoping for.”
John then said: “You are not gonna like this Craig but, we don’t like it at all, we hate it.”
Diane jumped in to tell the host that “it is not for us”, as he held his head in his hands and mimicked a cry.
However, John was quick to break cover and tell the show host it was all one big joke.
He remarked: “Craig, Craig, we love it!”
Craig let out a sigh of relief but he didn’t let them off the hook that easily as he hit back with a killer blow.
The host fired back: “You rotters!”
It all turned out well for the house hunters when they decided to make an offer on the house after labelling it their “clear contender.”
On the market for just under £153,000, the pair admitted they needed to do some work on the home and install a new bathroom and kitchen and so decided to offer £140,000 for the house.
Although this was rejected, the owner came back with a counter offer of £143,000 almost instantly.
John was impressed with the offer as he felt he was being reasonable and was attempting to “meet them in the middle”.
The couple were then left delighted as they secured the property for that price as Craig celebrated with them.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
