I’m fighting for the UFC heavyweight title… and my sexual performance has never been better since moving up a division

YOU’LL be hard pressed to keep up with the Jones now.

UFC legend Jon Jones is hoping for brawn ring glory this Saturday after finding that powering on the pounds for a world heavyweight bid has also sent his “sexual performance” off the scales.

The transformed New Yorker, 35, is now a bulging, bouncing 250lbs – in AND out of the Octagon… apparently.

The result will be a long-awaited debut at the top weight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in Las Vegas this weekend.

The former light-heavyweight king told fellow wrestling icon Alexander Volkanovski on MMA FANATICS: “I used to hate weightlifting.

“Now if I don’t get a workout in I feel miserable. Now I love fitness. I love being 250lbs. I feel incredibly strong.

“Now that I’m eating more food I sleep better. I feel like I think more clear. “

And he joked: “Sexual performance is better without the pills.”

But Jones revealed his jaw sometimes hurt from piling in 4,000-5,000 calories a day

He “had to learn” how to scoff eggs and rice, plus steak at lunch, as well as three protein shakes and “tons of fish and chicken”.

He said: “It became tedious. I had to almost blend food sometimes to just swallow it down

“It was not fun but I eventually adapted to the lifestyle and i started to live that true fitness lifestyle, just being committed.”

Jones enlisted famous transformation and powerlifting coach Stan Efferding to oversee his diet revolution.

Efferding, the 2010 Mr Olympia World’s Strongest Pro Bodybuilder, told SunSport: “He’s certainly one of the most talented [athletes I’ve worked with].

“Jon is one of those guys who, in a very short period of time, progresses extremely quickly.”

Now the MMA world will see how much gain has come from Jones’ pain as he attempts to reign against Gane and land the sport’s blue-riband crown.
