Schmidt competes in the 400m and is part of the German relay team.

She is hoping to compete in the next Olympic Games in 2024 after being part of the squad in 2020, but she did not feature.

Schmidt focused on her running after previously working at Borussia Dortmund.

The beauty was a fitness coach at the club during the 2020/21 season.

She has also kept busy away from the track by often posting racy snaps online.

Schmidt boasts an incredible 3.5million followers and has done modelling.

The athlete was named on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, which highlights influential young people.

On her mention, she told Gala: “The list was published on my birthday and when my manager called me to say I was in it brought tears to my eyes.
