With the Masters just around the corner, Woods may have taken the decision to not feature at the Players and prioritise the Masters, which starts April 6.

The five-time Green Jacket winner will be hoping to build on last year’s 47th-place finish at Augusta.

Last year’s Masters was Woods’ first official PGA Tour event since the 2020 Masters.

He was sidelined after suffering multiple leg injuries in a car crash in California.

Woods was out of competitive action for 17 months.
