Who was Star Wars actor Paul Grant?
Paul Grant was an actor who appeared as an ewok in Star Wars film Return of The Jedi in 1983.
He died on March 19, 2023, after being found by police at Kings’ Cross station three days prior.
Grant was 4ft 4 inches tall, and starred in a string of big budget films.
His daughter Sophie Jayne Grant paid tribute to his father after his death, saying: “I’m devastated.
“My dad was a legend in so many ways.”
When did Paul Grant die?
Grant collapsed outside King’s Cross station on March 16, 2023.
He was found by police, and was rushed to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.08pm on Thursday 16 March to reports of an incident at St Pancras Station, Euston Road.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a response car. We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
Doctors declared him brain dead, and his family made the difficult decision to turn off his life support machine on March 19, 2023.
What movies did Paul Grant star in?
As well as Star Wars, Grant had a number of roles in other films.
He appeared in 1986 film Labyrinth starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie, and had an uncredited role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
He also had a number of stunt roles, such as 1988 film Willow starring Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis, and 1985 film Legend starring Tom Cruise and Tim Curry.

Grant had a girlfriend named Maria Dwyer at the time of his death.
