The pair shared an update with followers explaining some of the changes they had made to the van to make it feel more like home.
Nick said: “This is a retired ambulance. It is a Chevy 3500 front end with a V8 engine. It came with 337,000 kilometres and we installed 630 watts of solar on the roof.”
“This is a pretty standard build that we have. We have a two person seat here & a single seat over on this side and a fixed bed which fits a double mattress.”
“A fixed bed is what we wanted to go with and we are still really happy with that. We’re really glad that our bed is there for us to lay down whenever we need it.”
Nick explained all their clothes are flooded in a closet which is under their two person seat.
He said: “It’s pretty jam-packed but after two years on the road this is what we have gotten used to. It’s definitely, it’s a little bit messy but it is what it is.”
Raychel said: “If we were to do it again, I would want more hanging storage.”
The pair keep their dry food storage under their one person seat.
Raychel said: “Below the seat is our dry food storage which is really full right now. Whenever it overflows we use these baskets [hanging baskets].”
The pair have a small kitchen space with a space rack and hanging mason jars for grains and tea underneath they have a small box fridge.

Their sink is also fitted with a plumbing system, but the pair says they regret not having a freshwater system.
There is no shower or bath but the pair do have a portable toilet.
When asked why she had decided to live in a van on the move, Raychel explained it was cheaper than paying rent.
She said: “I’m trying to explain that full time travel is cheaper than renting. If you stopped spending $1000+ [£800] on rent and household bills you have that money to do something else. “
“That’s how I afford to live on the road. I live rent free.”
The travellers have gained over 43,000 subscribers on YouTube and 172,000 followers on TikTok.
One user said: “The funny thing about this lifestyle is everyone thinks we’re either trust fund babies or homeless.”
Another user said: “Sounds fun to me. I love a good adventure.”
