Ukraine news latest — Putin orders strict border controls as drone crashes just MILES from Moscow amid multiple attacks

VLADIMIR Putin has ordered officials to tighten control of the border with Ukraine following a number of drone attacks.

On Tuesday, the Defence Ministry reported that one drone crashed just 60 miles of Moscow, while two others were downed in southern Russia.

Local authorities also reported that three drones targeted Russia’s Belgorod region on Ukraine’s border on Monday night with one flying through an apartment window in its capital.

It comes after a spy plane was reportedly destroyed in an audacious sabotage attack in Belarus using shop-bought drones, with the attack claimed by local anti-government activists who oppose the war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials have not claimed responsibility for any of the attacks.
