A plotline in Channel 4’s The Windsors will be based on their attendance — or otherwise — at the King’s Coronation.

It comes after they were mocked last month in US adult cartoon South Park.
A source said: “The timing couldn’t be better for the writers, with a real-life soap playing out within the Royal Family.
“The couple were mocked over in America with the South Park skit and now they’re going to get it again.”
Another storyline in the one-off special episode sees King Charles battling with Prince William over streamlining the May 6 ceremony amid the cost of living crisis.
