Passenger reveals perfect £15 bag for getting around hand luggage rules – and even Ryanair agrees

A PASSENGER has revealed the £15 bag they swear by for avoiding luggage costs – and even Ryanair has backed it.

Avoiding excess baggage fees is one great way to keep holiday costs down, but it can be difficult, especially on budget airlines with strict carry-on rules.

In a video on TikTok, one Ryanair passenger shared how she managed to avoid paying for additional carry-on luggage.

Emily, who is known as emilystravelguides on the social media platform, showed users how she managed to squeeze everything she needed for her holiday into a small duffel bag.

In the 10-second clip, Emily can be seen easily lifting the small black bag out of the Ryanair baggage checker.

She then showed the contents of her bag spilled out across a bed in what appeared to be a hotel room.

Inside the bag, she managed to pack clothes, toiletries, a laptop, a book, and even a small handbag.

A caption over the video read: “The viral Ryanair cabin bag is the real deal.”

The video has had more than two million views, with even Ryanair impressed by Emily’s packing.

The airline commented: “Play by the rules [and] we can be besties.”

Several people said that they were going to buy the bag for their own upcoming trips to avoid carry-on fees.

These users wouldn’t be the first to test out the viral bag either.

Another TikToker, Jas (@jasdhaliwal_13), can also be seen sliding her large duffel bag into the Ryanair luggage size checker, with ease.

The bag both Emily and Jas are impressed with is the Narwey duffel bag, which can be bought from Amazon for £14.99.

The bag is waterproof, meaning it will keep all your items dry, and also has several internal pockets, to keep everything well organised.

The sturdy straps also promise to handle more than 45lbs (20kg), meaning it can comfortably carry even the heaviest of hand luggage.

The Sun Online Travel Team recently put the bag to the test on a Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Vienna.

While the team where impressed with the bag, there was one downside to its design.

Meanwhile another couple revealed how they avoided paying for luggage on flights by only travelling with the Narwey duffel bag.

Ryanair also praised the bag in the comments of a TikTok videoTiktok – @emilystravelguides
