Multi-millionaire Molly Mae reveals why she went back to work two months after giving birth to baby Bambi

MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed why she went back to work two months after giving birth to her adorable daughter Bambi.

The 23-year-old multi-millionaire welcomed her daughter with boyfriend Tommy Fury in January, but she’s recently got stuck back into work and jetted off to France to shoot for PrettyLittleThing.

The star explained she still had bills and outgoings

In a new YouTube vlog shared with her millions of fans, the Love Island star revealed why she made the choice to go abroad for the shoot.

She said originally the plan was to take Bambi, but decided against it as she was being “selfish” and it would’ve meant Tommy wouldn’t experience the tot’s first flight.

Molly explained: “I reflected and realised I was probably being a little bit selfish to take a whole flight to a whole new country. Tommy wouldn’t even be there to experience her first flight or anything.

“For the sake of two nights I just thought she’s going to have to stay at home and I’m going to have to go to work.

“At the end of the day, I am self-employed, so I have to work because there’s bills to pay.

“We’ve got a mortgage to pay, car bills to pay. I’ve got outgoings. I have to earn. I don’t get a maternity leave pay. You don’t when you’re self-employed, so I have to get back to work.”

Molly’s return to work so soon did come as a surprise to some, given the star is believed to be £6million.

She’s a fashion and beauty empire, including signing a seven-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing and becoming its creative director.

She’s also the director of MMH Group Holdings, which has three businesses – Filter, MMH International and FM Cosmetics.

Last year, Molly-Mae revealed she had turned down a £2million deal with a high street brand because she didn’t wear their clothes.

During her return to work, Molly revealed she had a “meltdown” doing the shoot.

The 23-year-old told her fans: “I did, in the afternoon, have a bit of a meltdown just because it was a lot to take in.

“That was my second day without Bambi and I think I keep forgetting that I am still am only three months post-partum.

“I had not really prepared myself for how I might feel on a photoshoot. I think I had kinda not prepared myself fully for how I might feel on a photoshoot, three months after having a baby.”

Despite this, Molly admitted it was one of her favourite shoots she’d ever done and documented the stunning settings on social media for her fans.
