Matalan fans are rushing to buy their adorable baby clothes in a mega sale where everything is £5 or less

MATALAN fans are currently going wild for the shop’s latest kidswear collection.

But it’s their baby clothes in particular that are winning praise with savvy shoppers.

That’s because they currently have countless bargain buys hidden on their shelves with a mega-sale underway. 

And with most of the items priced at £5 or under, it’s no wonder parents are keen to snap them up before they’re gone. 

According to parenting specialist Heidi Scrimgeour of website Too Good To Know, Matalan is a staple all year round, offering great quality clothes for a fraction of the price of other high street stores. 

But now the brand has stepped things up even further – and she and mums and dads can’t get enough. 

In an article for the website, she explained: “Their £5-and-under baby event is particularly hard to beat.

“We’ve rifled through the shelves to find the best bargains currently on offer for £5 or less.

“So all you need to do is snap them up before they sell.”

So what’s all the fuss about? 

There are plenty of cute offerings – from handy bodysuits to slogan sweatshirts and tops. 

These include a white T-shirt style bodysuit with a sweet rainbow print in the centre.

Alongside the brightly coloured image is the phrase “tiny miracle” and the outfit would look adorable on a newborn and costs just £3.50.

There’s also more slogan stock in store with a stylish little pink sweatshirt for £5 that has the words ‘hello lovely’ printed on it in a nice italic font. 

Plus, a charcoal grey long sleeved T-shirt for £3.50, which has the inspiring phrase: “I will do BIG things.” 

And not forgetting another of their sweet offerings – a cream tee, again with a phrase, ‘Happiest when with Mummy’ emblazoned on it for £3.50.

But it’s not just outfits that have got people’s interest whilst they’ve been browsing both in-store and online. 

There’s also plenty of accessories to complete ensembles, including a £4 four- pack of blue car-themed socks, a £2 pack of two hats, and a navy hat with a big pom pom on the top for just £1.50. 

Elsewhere, parents can also soothe their little one with the help of a sweet little comforter with a star design, again on sale for £5. 

Or if they are in need of some Muslin cloths – any parent will know that these are a must – Matalan have them in a gorgeous sage green shade and three cost just £4.
