Love Island viewers convinced ITV leaked advert on purpose to cover up host Maya Jama’s mistake
LOVE Island viewers are convinced ITV leaked the advert on purpose to cover up host Maya Jama’s mistake.
Last night the host put a sneak peek of spin-off show Aftersun on her social media – and viewers could see Will Young and Jessie Wynter in the background.

Then during the last ad break, Maya said Will and Jessie would be joining them on Aftersun.
However it hadn’t announced which couple had left until after the break.
Some Love Island fans have shared a bizarre theory that the bosses did that to try and cover up Maya’s blunder.
But there is no proof that this is the case.
One wrote on Twitter: “they definitely showed the aftersun advert to cover up maya accidentally leaking who left.”
“Producers saw Maya already leaked who got dumped so just thought to tell us on the advert for aftersun,” a second tweeted.
A third said: WTH, the afternsun advert gave away who was being dumped ???”
The Sun contacted ITV for comment.
Ahead of the programme returning for its final part, an advert for Love Island’s AfterSun aired.
On it, Maya said: “Join me tonight in South Africa live from the villa. Dumped Islanders Will and Jessie and Casey and Rosie will be sharing the goss.”
It then showed Will and Jessie waving at the camera.
Moments before the advert was aired, Maya also leaked the result ahead of time.
Posting a video on her Instagram, she told fans: “We’re going live in South Africa and look who’s here… And they’re all South African, it’s lovely.”
She then zoomed into the crowd where you could clearly see dumped Islander Will.
Maya added: “And there you go!”
