Love Island star left with bloodied nose after nasty accident

Love Island star Scott Thomas has revealed he’s been in a nasty accident that has left him needing treatment for a bloodied nose.

The season two veteran appeared in good spirits despite the injury as he confessed the incident was “testing” him.

Scott, 34, showed off a nasty cut on the bridge of his nose that he admitted he had sustained after whacking himself in the face with a padel racket.

Sharing the update on Instagram Stories with his 993,000 followers, he told the camera: “I’m all for remaining positive but when you smash yourself in the face with a padel racket, yes a padel racket, this is testing me right now.”

Dressed in a blue Nike sports zip up hoodie, snood and hat, the entrepreneur looked fresh faced – apart from his injury – as he recounted the incident to fans.

Smiling despite surely being in pain, he went on: “If you see me walking around looking like a boxer, I haven’t got a good story to tell. This is literally self-inflicted.

“It’s pretty deep but we keep moving. If anyone has any advice on what to do. I’m going to get it checked out now.”

He finished the update by jokingly telling his followers: “Don’t play padel, kids. Stay safe!”

Scott, who came third on the second season of the Love Island alongside Kady McDermott, then revealed to fans he had gone to see a clinical specialist who normally treats boxers.

After admitting his injury wasn’t as “spicy” as what the doctor might be used to dealing with, he had his wound cleaned and bandaged before having cryotherapy used on the area to help with the swelling.

Last year Scott stunned fans by dropping a jaw-dropping two and a half stone and embarking on a wellness journey.
