I’m plus-size and I did a Shein clothing haul – the crop tops are so flattering and I love the maxi skirt

WHILE online shopping can be a total fail – as things often look different on models than they do us – one plus-size woman said she was thrilled with her haul.

Excited for the warm weather, Des Schnell ordered a bunch of summery items from the popular retailer Shein.

Des’s try-on haul, which she posted on TikTok (@desschnell), received over 400k views, with users heading to the online store to copy her purchases.

“I’ve done like three orders on Shein in the last couple of weeks because I’m trying to get ready for spring, so I haven’t tried any of this on,” she began.

“So I’m doing it with you guys.”

The first piece she tried was a $12 floral mini dress.

The flowy style and short sleeves made it perfect for a day in the sun.

“Super cute. Love the length.

“It fits really well, but I’ll probably have to pin this because it will just fall open,” she said, pointing to the neckline.”

Slipping into something a little different, she modeled a $14 floral maxi skirt and $8 crop top T-shirt.

The casual yet flirty outfit was perfect for Des’s body type.

“I’m not even wearing any shapewear or anything,” she said, surprised by how flattering the skirt was.

Because she loved the crop top T-shirt, she decided to get it in black as well.

Unfortunately, the $13 rust-colored pants she paired it with were not up to par.

“I had high hopes for them, but are they see-through?” she wondered, adding that she’d have to wear shapewear with them.

Sticking with crop-tops, she tried on a $8 floral one next.

“It’s super cute paired with denim. I like this one a lot, a lot.”

Her next piece was a $6 muscle tee crop top with duo-tone print.

“I like this one a lot with a pair of boyfriend jeans. It’s cute.”

As for fancier options, she tried on two black mini dresses next.

The first one, at $15, was perfect for a lunch or dinner out, with casual black material and short sleeves.

“It has this cute little tie detail that hides the belly a little bit,” she admired.

The second dress, at $16, was more elevated, with a glamorous glitter print and long sleeves – a great option for a cocktail-attire evening.

“I wish I would have sized down for this one because it is a little big on me, so I don’t know if I’ll end up wearing it but it’s cute,” she said.

To chill at home, she bought a $10 brown lounge set.

The crop top looked sexy yet comfortable, and the shorts accentuated her curves.

Finishing off with her two favorite finds, she modeled a $4 checkered tank top with a $12 unbuttoned white polo on top.

She paired it with ripped jeans and white Nike sneakers, calling the look: “Chef’s kiss.”

Viewers, too, fell in love with her style.

“Crop top queen! I LOVE the second outfit with the skirt,” one person commented.

“I love them on you. Super cute. Really suited you,” added another.
