IF YOU want to level up your bedroom but don’t know where to begin, these three tricks are for you.

Interior designer Phoenix Grey shared some of his best tips anyone can try out and they’re as simple as moving your bed around.

Posting on TikTok, Phoenix explained you don’t have to spend a fortune to make a big impact when it comes your your bedroom.

That said, if you are going to change one thing it should be a your headboard.

Beds without a headboard look a bit juvenile and don’t exactly scream luxurious and more basic styles can be dull, the pro explained.

But switching to a statement headboard can instantly transform the entire room.

Your bed should be “the star of the room,” Phoenix explained, noting that “the easiest bedroom design ideas can be as simple as moving your bed into a new spot and making sure it’s the central focus.”

Adding extra pillows and throws will also give your bed “a hotel cloud-like appearance”

Layering these accessories shouldn’t be underestimated, since the right combination can make any room look posh instantly.

Mood lighting can also make a bigger difference than most people realise.

Phoenix suggested using more lamps to create a “more ambient look” instead of basic bright ceiling lights.

He added: “Bedrooms should be an oasis. Make sure you keep every detail in mind.”
