I’m a gym girl and was followed by a ‘creepy guy’ on my morning run – my warning to other women

A GYM girl has claimed she was followed by a man while trying to get in a three-mile run.

The young woman, (@lacie_kraatz) on TikTok, documented the unwanted experience on social media, hoping other ladies will stay more alert while working out in public.

Lacie, who has over 30,000 followers on the app, often posts clips of herself hitting the gym and speaks about her love for exercising.

But in a recent video, she decided to address a situation that allegedly cut one of her runs short.

“I’m just making this video so women are a little more aware of them,” she said.

“See this gentleman behind me, this is what this video is about.”

A man could be seen walking behind the runner in the background of the video.

“So here I am running, doing my three-mile run and this gentleman was ahead of me at one point and he was going the opposite way of me,” Lacie claimed.

She claimed the man was originally in front of her, but alleged he “stopped in the middle of the trail just to get behind me”.

According to Lacie, the man then repeatedly peaked over his shoulder to look at her.

She said his presence made her so anxious that she was left with no other option but to dart through a red light.

“You know at red lights where it stops the person from walking, well I ran that, I wasn’t supposed to, that was illegal, just so that he would be like half a mile behind me,” she said.

The woman then claimed that as soon as she began running again, the man started running behind her.

She decided to put it to the test once again, holding her phone up as she ran to show him speeding up in the background.

“I couldn’t even finish my run, I only ran like a mile and a half, I wanted to do three miles, but no,” she concluded.

“Creepy men just had to be creepy f***ing men, today.”

As Lacie returned back home, she left a final warning message with her followers.

“If for a minute you feel like someone is following you, odds are it’s probably happening,” she claimed.
