I work as a waitress and I’m petrified of ketchup – I burst into tears when I just see it

A WOMAN has told how she is scared of ketchup — which causes bother in her job as a waitress.

Charlie Everett, 18, can burst into tears if she sees, smells or touches the red condiment.

She said: “I work in a pub and obviously people are going to want sauces.

“We have this massive container of ketchup, and I was trying to squeeze some into a ramekin and it fell on my shoe.

“My boss had to comfort me as I was crying.

“Since I can remember, I’ve been scared of it.”

Charlie, from Finchley, North London, admitted she has never even tasted ketchup, adding: “I know I never will.”
