I haven’t worn a bra or underwear in years – they’re ‘not good for you,’ I think everyone should throw them out

A WOMAN hasn’t worn a bra or underwear in years and urged other people to throw theirs out.

She presented a convincing argument for the controversial act.

Alaina (@wellnesswithalaina), a health and wellness influencer, shared her reasoning for going commando in a video with over 39,000 TikTok followers.

“This needs to be talked about because nobody’s talking about it,” she began.

“Bras and underwear, why are we wearing them?” she asked.

She argued that bras cut off the circulation under the boobs and “prevent the lymph nodes from flowing.”

“And they’ve been shown to lead to premature sagging,” she added.

For underwear, she argued that you need to let the area breath to prevent infections.

“It’s going to throw off your pH balance, especially when you’re going to bed, there’s no need to wear underwear to bed,” she continued.

“Discharge is normal, stop freaking out about it if it gets into your pants, shorts, or whatever.”

People took to the comments to share their thoughts, with many voicing agreement.

“I don’t wear either ever, I love it, it’s so much less restricting,” said one commenter.

Others wished they could but explained they actually needed bras for a boost.

“I wish I could go that route but I’m in the IBTC (Itty Bitty Titty Committee),” joked another.

Other women on TikTok have made similar arguments that bras are unhealthy, with one saying ditching bras leads to an increase in collagen.

However, Dr. Hakan Gundogan of the Clinic Center told The U.S. Sun that wearing a supportive bra is important to maintaining breast shape and lift.

Without proper support, breasts will sag over time, the medic said.
