I came up with a genius way to get a guy to like you – some people think I’m ‘psycho’ but it actually works

WHILE some people look down on playing games in the dating world, others think it’s the only way to make it work.

One woman said she’s all for a little trickery in the name of love – and she received split opinions from her TikTok followers.

Carly (@alwaysswaggin1) humorously admitted that she was “actually f****** mentally insane,” before sharing her apparently tried and true tactic to “get a guy obsessed with you.”

In the video, she began: “This is how to make a guy think that you guys are so similar and so compatible.”

It all goes back to music taste.

“You go to their Spotify.”

While you may not know your crush’s Spotify profile name, Carly said it’s easy to guess.

“Usually it’s one of their usernames that they already have. So, like, look up their Instagram name on Spotify.

“Or just look up their real name on Spotify. You’ll find it somehow.”

Once you find the profile, look for the last song they added to their playlist.

“Then, when you Snap them back in the car, make it so that they see the radio name, and send them a Snap of you listening to that song.”

Carly, who admitted to doing this a few times already, claimed your crush will be mind-blown.

“They’ll be like, ‘Oh my god. We have the f****** same music taste,’

“One guy replayed my snap and was like, ‘OMG I was just listening to that song in the shower.’

“And I was like, ‘No f****** way, I love this song.’ But really, I didn’t even know the song.”

Carly ended the clip by jokingly calling herself a “mastermind,” and said that the tactic usually makes guys like her until they realize that she’s “actually insane.”

Viewers couldn’t get enough of her ingenuity and relatability.

“I love knowing that other people are also insane like me,” one person commented.

“This is so smart,” added another.

“Once you have their Spotify you have them on lock,” a third agreed.

And a fourth said she’s been doing this all along: “BYE I THOUGHT I WAS SO UNIQUE BY DOING THIS.”

Others, however, thought the idea went too far.

“Idk this feels desperate and I will never go this far for any man. If we have the same music taste then we do, if we don’t then we don’t,” one commented.

“Nah cuz if you just want a guy, you just ask him out,” another agreed.

“This is too crazy,” chimed in a third.
