How many episodes are there in The Bay season 3?

Just like the first three seasons, the fourth series of The Bay is airing on ITV and the ITVX.

Like the previous series’, there are six episodes in total.

Season 4 will start on March 7, 2023 at 9pm on ITV, and will air every Wednesday night at the same time, until it concludes on April 12, 2023.

Speaking about the new series, ITV drama boss Polly Hill said: “I’m delighted that we will be returning to Morecambe for another series of The Bay.

“Marsha Thomason delivered a brilliant performance as DS Jenn Townsend, and it will be exciting to see where Daragh takes her character in series 4.”

What will happen on The Bay season 4?

DS Jenn Townsend, Morecambe Police’s Family Liaison Officer, is working late as usual when an arson attack is reported.

She races to the scene to find horror unfolding for a broken family, the Metcalfs.

As they face an overwhelming loss, Jenn must gain their trust to help Manning and the MIU uncover the truth of what has happened.

Back at home, Jenn’s got troubles of her own as, along with Chris, she tries to get to grips with the realities of having a house full of teenagers and a blended family.

Who is in the cast of The Bay season 3?

Following leading lady Morven Christie’s exit from the show at the end of season 2, actress Marsha Thomason continues as the leading star, after joining in the third series.

Marsha plays the role of DS Jenn Townsend, Morecambe CID’s Family Liaison Officer.

Series regulars, Daniel Ryan, Erin Shanagher, Thomas Law and Andrew Dowbiggin also reprise their roles.

Barry Sloane and Georgia Scholes return as Chris and Erin Fischer, and Emma Haynes and David Carpenter also reprise their roles as Maddie and Conor Townsend.
