Hollyoaks star rushed to hospital after nasty accident playing football
HOLLYOAKS star Connor Calland has been rushed to hospital after suffering an accident while playing football.
Connor, who is best known for playing bad boy Jordan Price on the C4 soap Hollyoaks, was left with multiple fractured bones in his arm and a dislocated knee following the incident.

Connor uploaded a snap after returning home from A&E and updated his followers from his bed on what had happened.
Writing alongside the photo, which shows the soap actor grimacing in pain as he sits up in his bed with his arm in a sling, Connor said: “2 fractures in my arm and a knee brace… not ideal.”
While he also re-shared a post from his worried girlfriend Monica who revealed how Connor came to sustain his painful injuries.
Posting a full length snap of Connor resting on his bed, as he showed off a huge leg brace, Monica simply captioned it: “Goes to play one football match…”
It’s thought that Connor regularly plays football near to his home in Liverpool.
The actor was a firm favourite with soap fans during his time on the soap.
Since leaving the show in early 2021 Connor has gone to land a string of exciting TV and film roles.
He played Carlton Flynn in hit Netflix thriller Stay Close, alongside James Nesbitt and Richard Armitage.
He also appeared alongside Hollywood A-listers Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton in 2021 movie The King’s Man.
Connor also starred in 2021 sitcom series Flatmates.
Most recently he was seen making a guest appearance in BBC1 medical drama Casualty.
