Furious Love Island fans slam islander as ‘game player’ saying ‘she’s desperate to make the final’
LOVE Island fans have branded Samie Elishi a ‘game player’ and believe she’s deliberately causing trouble to make it to the final.
Samie, who is currently coupled up with Tom Clare, found herself in hot water on Sunday night’s show as tensions rose after the Couple Of Sorts challenge.

She was seen talking with other members of the villa, questioning Ron’s compatibility with Lana Jenkins after he admitted knowing those that did well on previous series “hit a rocky patch early then rode it out like he and Lana have”.
With Ron due to confront Samie about this tonight, fans on Reddit have accused Samie of deliberately calling this out in a bid to push through to the final.
According to one viewer, this has even happened before.
One viewer wrote: “If anyone’s game playing, it’s Samie and Tom.
“Samie’s been a s**t-stirrer from the start: listening to Olivia’s comments about Tanyel then relaying it to Tanyel despite never defending her in the moment.
“More recently with the Jessie situation, both Samie and Tom spoke with Casey about Jessie potentially being fake but then she acted like it was the first time she was hearing it on the daybeds and only came to Jessie’s defence AFTER Claudia began sticking up for Jessie.”
“And now, after the challenge which showed them that they’re clearly liked by the public and the public may think Ron is a game player, they (mostly Samie) spend the whole night s**t stirring about Ron, and while Rosie has her fault in this, Samie also contributed to Rosie thinking Ron had malicious intent with the advice he offered about Casey,” they concluded.
“It comes across to me that they’ve realised they’re well-liked and it’s making them more cocky and more willing to tear down another solid couple. But that’s just me.”
“That ratings game really made them think they may win this thing,” said another viewer. “Just want to make sure and get Ron and Lana to fight and breakup. She looked so disappointed in Lana’s reaction to the game playing thing. Nice try.”
With the series drastically racing towards its finale, currently there seems to be no outstanding favourite like there has been in previous series.
Other fans have accused all islanders of back-stabbing each other in one way or another, lying about having genuine friendships.
On tonight’s episode, Samie is set to have a confrontation with a furious Ron about her comments.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m quite livid, I’m just not going to have it… I’m not having a whole gaff think that after one challenge I’m playing a game,” he tells her
However, Samie doesn’t back down, telling him that ‘that’s the way it’s been perceived’ and notes other islanders were talking about it.
He insists: “The only way that’s being perceived is by either you or Tom going away and taking that and making out as if it was said that way.”
Love Island continues weekdays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
