Erling Haaland sets Champions League record book on fire as Man City star scores five in brutal RB Leipzig performance
ERLING HAALAND broke several Champions League records after putting five past RB Leipzig.
The striker has been in scintillating form this season and increased his tally to 39 goals in 36 games in all competitions against the German side.

He has an astonishing nine goals in the Champions League and became the fastest player to score 30 goals in the competition.
Haaland smashed Ruud van Nistelrooy’s existing record of 34 games by achieving the scoring feat in just 25 matches.
He is also the youngest player in Champions League history to hit the 30-goal milestone, beating Kylian Mbappe by 116 days.
The striker was prolific for RB Salzburg in Europe and while at Borussia Dortmund he became the fastest player to score 20 Champions League goals.
Haaland has now scored five hat-tricks this season which have helped him break a Manchester City record – his 39 goals are the most scored by a City player in a single campaign, overtaking Tommy Johnson’s record of 38 from 1928-29.
