Emmerdale shock as Paddy Kirk makes bombshell return

EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Paddy Kirk made a bombshell return tonight.

The vet – who is played by actor Dominic Brunt in the ITV soap – disappeared earlier this month after everything in his life became too much for him to cope with.

His family desperately tried to track him down, but he managed to remain one step ahead of them.

In tonight’s episode Mandy received a tip that Paddy had been seen in a nearby town.

Determined to find him she tried to rally the troops – but they all had excuses why they couldn’t go.

But when Charity decided to go and help search for him, they all quickly came round and decided to head out.

However at that moment Paddy walked back into the pub and acted as if he’d just nipped out for a break.

“I just needed some space,” he said.

But Paddy refused to answer anymore questions and rushed off insisting he needed a shower.

Marlon’s attempts to get him to open up failed.

“I am fine,” Paddy insisted.

“I needed to clear my head. Cain does this all the time and no-one seems to bat an eyelid.”

He stormed out leaving Marlon and viewers worried for him.

One wrote: “Omg wasn’t expecting that! Paddy’s back!”

A second said: “The wanderer has return, glad he’s back.”

Another added: “Welcome back Paddy!”
