Cheryl Fergison, who quit her EastEnders role in 2012, has been back on social media after a hiatus away from her TV fans.

The star has been keeping her following entertained on TikTok by showing off her secret talent – her stunning singing voice.

She headed to the social media platform to sing a number of her favourite “old school” songs on Thursday night.

Her fans flooded to the live video in their hundreds to watch her performance, gushing over her with heart emojis.

“Thank you so much,” Cheryl could be heard telling her fans. “How about this one? I’m going very old school at the moment.”

Cheryl went on to perform Only You by The Platters, as well as 1975 soul hit Let’s Stay Together by Al Green.

She kept it causal for the performances, wearing minimal make-up, a brightly coloured loose-fitting top and letting her hair down.

It’s not the first time that Cheryl has showed off her singing talent, as she appeared on Loose Women in 2020 to sing for the panel.

The actress joined the lunchtime chat show to talk about her aspiring music career, and hopes to perform with Ed Sheeran.

Saira Khan asked: “I hear you want to launch your singing career, is that right, somebody like Ed Sheeran, perhaps?”

“Nobody has ever asked me to go into a studio or do an album and I’ve always wanted to,” the Heather Trott actress replied.

“Even if I just had the album, or my sons are into vinyl, he’s nicked all my vinyls. I’d love to have a record or a CD or whatever it is.”

Heather previously confirmed that she had already “written an album”, but was yet to record any music.

Earlier this year, Cheryl was spotted looking worlds away from her EastEnders character as she stepped out for a red carpet event.

She looked sensational as she attended the star-studded premiere of the new Dirty Dancing stage show.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star flashed her infectious smile to the waiting cameras on the red carpet.

Heather Trott actress Cheryl first began playing her infamous character in 2007 before being brutally killed off in 2012.

Since then Cheryl has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, David Walliams sitcom Big School and the BGT star’s Christmas drama Hansel and Gretel After Ever After.
