Cheap 3-night foreign hols for the coronation May bank holiday weekend – from £195pp with flights

BRITS will get an extra bank holiday to celebrate the coronation of King Charles in May – perfect for an early summer getaway.

We’ve scoured the internet to find the best beach breaks during the long weekend, with some starting from £195pp, including flights.

The Coronation of King Charles will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.

The extra bank holiday will fall on Monday, May 8, so we found holidays with departures on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6.

If you’d like to extend your holiday, you could bag a longer break by taking annual leave between bank holiday days.

You could get up to nine days off by only taking four days of leave between May 2 and May 5.

The best deals come from holiday giants like TUI, Loveholidays, BA and Jet2holidays.

The holidays are available on different board basis, from self-catering and room-only to half-board and all-inclusive – so there’s something to suit everyone’s taste.

And you could jet off to sunny destinations in Spain, including the Balearic and Canary Islands, Turkey and Portugal.

The biggest bargain we’ve found is Majorca, Spain, with three-night stays at Globales Cala Vinas costing from £195pp all-inclusive.

The extra bank holiday will bring the number of public holidays for England and Wales to eight days.
