Speaking about taking part in BGT when she was just six-years-old, Connie, now 22, said: “It feels like it was the beginning of my life – I don’t really remember anything before that.
“I remember bits of the show but I really wanted to be on The X Factor and obviously I was too young.
“It just started as a fun day out and it’s given me a career today which is incredible.”
Connie added: “The motto was always ‘just go out there and have fun’. I just wanted to be Leona Lewis.”
Natalie – who blew the judges away with her rendition of Alicia Keys’ No One when she was 10 in 2009 – told how she’s still releasing music today because of the show.
The 24-year-old said also revealed it was Connie who inspired her to go on the show in the first place.
She said: “I was like ‘oh my gosh, mummy look at that girl, she’s amazing!’”
Natalie added: “My new single Fire is coming out on 31 March, I’ve been releasing music, performing, travelling and performing on cruise ships.”
Bars and Melody took part in BGT in 2014 and made it all the way to third place after Simon Cowell pressed the golden buzzer for them.
Leondre was 13 at the time while Charlie was 15 and Leondre said: “We didn’t know what we were signing up to, we had nothing to lose.”
He added: “We’ve been non-stop since Britain’s Got Talent. Covid was a slow down for everyone but we’d been relentlessly touring up until that point.”
