Belle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) was heartbroken when her former boyfriend Ellis decided to leave the eponymous village.

The hunk packed his things and jetted off to Australia for a new job opportunity.

Since then, Belle has followed Ellis’ trajectory by focusing on her own professional aspirations, which led her to get into business with her ex-flame’s father Al.

But things have been left somewhat rocky after the businessman was accidentally killed by Kyle Winchester.

Meanwhile, another character has been feeling lonely following the tragic death of his wife Liv Flaherty.

And he could change everything for Belle.

Coming up on ITV, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) realises that he’s been using Liv’s death as an excuse to not get on with his life while at the Dingles Homestead.

This prompts him to agree to a night out, leaving Belle pleased.

Once the big evening starts, Vinny shows off his dance moves to Belle, leaving them both in hysterics and having a great night.

Where will the evening take them?

As mentioned above, Vinny was heartbroken when his own other half Liv died after being crushed by a caravan during an explosive storm week.

Finding it hard to cope, Vinny first turned to gambling the pain away but was soon caught up with the reality of such an addiction and his mother Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was becoming increasingly worried about him.

In recent scenes, Vinny grew closer to Belle as the pair joined forces to help their struggling family pay their heating bills.

Both characters embarked on a daring robbery to save their family from the harsh winter and began to eye up Pollard’s oil tank to figure out how to syphon it off.

Sam Dingle (James Hooton) recently landed himself into plenty of trouble by trying to steal from Eric Pollard when he grew more than determined to provide for his granddaughter Esther.

Could Belle and Vinny become an item?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
